Vertebrates at or near Highlands Biological Laboratory

September 6-7, 2003

Weather: 9/6 -- chilly, misty; 9/7 -- sunny

Other notes: few birds around (chilly mist did not help!) -- almost no migrants -- White Pines all had small (4-6 cm) brown cones -- apparently aborted in last year's drought (fourth year without a cone crop)

Please send additions/corrections to Haven Wiley
