Part of conducting any experiment or making any quantitative observations
is designing a suitable way to record the results systematically.
Designing data sheets is thus something that everybody in the lab should
participate in.
The fish labs not only introduce basic concepts about behavior but also
provide chances to design some basic kinds of data sheets.
Everybody should get involved!
The mockingbird labs on territoriality and responses to playback require
more complex data sheets. Links to printable sheets are provided
below. Everybody should nevertheless contribute to planning these
observations.
