Internships and Assistants in Field Biology

Field assistants or interns usually receive room and board and sometimes a stipend.   Often there are opportunities to conduct independent projects that can provide the data for independent or honors research in Biology or Environmental Sciences at UNC-CH.

You can always try a search on google.com for such combinations as ...

'internship' plus a modifier such as 'wildlife', 'bird', 'animal', 'ecology', 'conservation', or other

or 'REU' plus any of these modifiers (REU = Research Experience for Undergraduates as funded by the National Science Foundation)
