Route 12 -- Mount Carmel Church Road NW

Southeastern Orange County

Date -- May 28, 2000
Time -- 5:26 EDT
Observers -- Minna and Haven Wiley

NOTES

A Song Sparrow sang steadily where Smith Level Road crosses Morgan Creek -- an unusual breeding bird in southern Orange!   This route passes through the center of Carrboro -- appropriately enough we had lots of town birds -- Fish Crow, House Wren, Gray Catbird, and House Finch.
